All I've got to say is Man! Are the Bitteroot Mountains one of the most awesome places on earth!
This Bobcat was way the heck at the top of a big hemlock tree. I'd estimate probably 60 feet. A Bobcat is a small target but at this range and with the excellent guides and dogs that led me to him the Browning A-bolt and Swarovski scope combination was no match
It was extremely foggy because of the rising temp but I managed to put a good bead on the cat and he tumbled down to earth nearly at my feet!
